Something to note: There is a difference between stress and anxiety. With stress, there is often an event or situation— a trigger— you can pinpoint, like being stuck in traffic, a work deadline, or a disagreement with a friend.

Anxiety, on the other hand, can occur for no apparent reason. This means you could wake up with symptoms (and many people do) and have no idea why, which is why anxiety can make some people feel like they are losing their mind.

Your story is important because it includes what you have been through, how you have learned to view the world the way that you do, and even how your body has spoken through symptoms of anxiety.

Do you remember learning to drive a car?

At first it was exciting. You got your learner’s permit and jumped behind the wheel for the first time, dreaming of freedom.

Pretty soon after that you likely experienced frustration, at not being able to reverse park, or hill start, or do anything much at all UNTIL you’d put in hours upon hours of practice. It was repetitive and a bit tedious…

But you just KNEW that if you just persisted, eventually you’d be able to drive wherever you wanted to, all on your own.

So you persisted, day after day until the knowledge became embedded in your memory. Now you can probably reverse park almost without thinking about it.


This is procedural learning.

It’s experiential and it takes time. You can’t watch a 2-minute video and hack your way into being able to drive.

It’s the same with walking away from anxiety and other unhelpful things that hold you back

You have to "do" the learning, just the same as when you learned to drive.

FAQ

How are the sessions conducted?

I coach my clients to success virtually via Zoom. Some have asked if coaching is  as effective online or virtually or by phone as opposed to in person. 

The answer is… YES!.  At the hands of a qualified coach, coaching is just as effective when using video conferencing software (such as Zoom) or the phone. The best bit of working like this is that because you are in your own home or office, or wherever you feel safe, you will be even more relaxed and comfortable, meaning that our sessions will work faster and more effectively than anything you may have tried before

Am I awake?

Yes. Hypnosis is a sleep of the nervous system. You don’t actually go to sleep. You are fully aware and dropped in to a deeper level of yourself. You are in charge

How does it work

Taking you back to resolve the Root Cause of your issue is a powerful component of healing. Through hypnosis, you observe experiences of your past and draw a new understanding. Understanding is Power and Freedom - Part of the power of our work together is to give YOU the understanding and knowledge to free yourself of old unhelpful beliefs. Understanding in hypnosis is the most liberating, transformational power.

How long does it take?

A session lasts between 90 – 120 minutes.  It is for that reason that every session is booked as 2 hours.

How will it work?

Hypnosis provides direct access to the reasons you feel how you feel. We are not wasting time talking about what you conscious mind thinks may be the cause. You subconscious minds already holds the answers.

Through the answers, you gain a new understanding, from a place of non-judgement. This allows you mind to let go for good. Then we are able to reprogram and upgrade your mind with the beliefs that empower you.

How will I feel after a session?

Everyone is different. You may feel extremely happy and excited, lighter, relieved and free. You may find yourself very tired and sleep. It is possible to find yourself in a reflective mood.

It’s not uncommon to remember more and have additional insights that apply to the issue you worked on.

Is it all confidential?

Yes. Absolutely.

Can I afford it?

Ladies often ask themselves Can I afford this? But if you reframe that question and ask “can I afford NOT to do this?” You will find that your answers can be very different. In fact, it costs much more time and money to stay stuck in that problem trying other things that just don't work for them
