Never heard of Fitness Pilates? Based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates, Fitness Pilates is more of a functional approach to the traditional Pilates exercises. I still apply the main principles of Pilates but it also involves more functional movement for everyday life.
When you think about it, we don't spend our lives lying on the floor do we? Fitness Pilates consists of mobility drills, standing and floor exercises all designed to move you in all 3 planes of your body keeping a fitness vibe whilst at the same time helping poor posture by toning little-used muscles groups in your tummy, torso, upper and lower back.
Low- impact mini sessions focusing on concentration, breathing, relaxation, body alignment, flow and body awareness
